Aliki Vythoulka was born in Melbourne, Australia to Greek parents. She started her working career as a care worker with the intellectually disabled.
In 1992 she moved to Europe, lived and worked in Greece and Italy before moving to the UK in 1999 where she trained in Holistic Therapies completing the VTCT Diploma in Holistic Therapies– Reflexology, Massage, Aromatherapy, Counselling and Diet & Nutrition. Reflexology was the modality that attracted her the most so she went on to further training with the AOR – Association of Reflexologists UK completing the AOR Practitioner Certificate with distinction. She further developed her skills in Reflexology by training in VRT with Lynne Booth, ART with Tony Porter, Hand Reflexology with Kristin Walker. As an adjunct to Reflexology, she also trained in EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique with Sandra Hilawi, Australian Bush Flower Essences with Ian White.
In 2004 she moved to Barcelona, Spain. She further continued her studies training in Cranio-Sacral Reflexology with Martine Faure Alderson, Precision Reflexology with Jan Williamson, Soku Shin Do – Japanese Reflexology with Emili Estivill, Spondylotherapy – Spine reflexology with Antonio Espejo Morales, Neuro Muscular Reflexology with Joaquin Muñoz and Dynamic Reflexology with Eugenia Doulvari in Athens Greece. She trained in Metamorphic technique with Ma Carmen Boira, Reiki with Elisabeth Pardó and Anna Orench, Phytotherapy with ISMET, Phytotherapy, Dietetics and Nutrition with the Paco Puerta Foundation.
In 2005 her passion for Reflexology led her to becoming actively involved with EDiREFLEX- Association for the Study and Diffusion of Reflexologies in Barcelona, Spain. In 2006 she became secretary of EDiREFLEX and in 2011 she was elected as president of the Association. In 2016 Aliki moved to Zakynthos, Greece. In 2017 she was elected Vice president of EDiREFLEX. In July 2020 she resigned from her position at EDiREFLEX and in November 2020 she was elected Vice President of the Panhellenic Union of Professional Reflexologists in Greece.
Aliki has been a therapist since 2001, and is an accredited tutor of VRT – Vertical Reflexology and Precision Reflexology. She teaches in Greece and Spain. In her practice she works holistically complementing Reflexology treatments with EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Metamorphic Technique, Aromatherapy, Flower Therapy – Australian Bush Flowers, Diet and Nutrition, Herbal Medicine and Massage Techniques.
